The blog post at the link, above, is about closure; or, more accurately, Robert Barron’s effort to honor an author who inspired him as a young man.
I note similarities between this blog post and my research: Barron’s goal was to erect a proper memorial to the author he admired. In my case, to tell the whole story of Emmett Wilson’s life. Both Barron’s effort and my effort are about correcting the records, so to speak.
This blog post is an inspiring, touching story. It demonstrates the power of writing, be it virtual or traditional, and how ‘simple words’ can build relationships, and make a difference in someone else’s life.
