This is what it looks like outside.

Rock Creek Park, about 10 am this morning. Another foot of snow is on the way; it was knee-deep. My husband took this shot.
It’s down time today in Emmett Wilson research land; not much writing or research going on. I am thankful that we still have electricity, running water, wood for the stove, and a lot of books to read. And more hiking later on.
Sometimes, you have to take a break from the research and writing, to recharge the batteries. Sometimes, the break is forced on you, because circumstances dictate it. This weekend is that kind of weekend. And it’s fine!
