Work-in-Progress

Here’s an update on the improvements taking place at the Wilson-Myers House, Emmett’s boyhood home, in Chipley.

The shutters are off, and the scraping well underway. All photos are courtesy of the owner's son, Kevin R.

Already the house is looking much better. The new roof was completed last week. The chimney appears to have been power-washed, as has the rest of the house.

The back of the house. The section on the right was part of Dr. Wilson's surgery once upon a time. That little structure that is unpainted was added on in modern times as part of a bathroom.
